Cash, credit sales at ACL Fest could become thing of the past

Food and merchandise vendors at Austin City Limits Festival may have a big technology shift ahead of them. Festival producers C3 Presents is testing out a new system that will allow festival-goers to make purchases without cash or credit cards.

Austin Energy to stick with Kinder Morgan, sign $25M gas pipeline deal

Austin Energy has received the go-ahead from City Council for the utility to negotiate an up to $25 million contract with Kinder Morgan Texas Pipeline LLC for natural gas pipeline transportation services.

Flores investing $4 million in Oak Hill Mexican restaurant south of Austin

Restaurateur Jose Flores is making a $4 million investment to build a new Flores Mexican Restaurant in Oak Hill.

SolarWinds moves Colorado office

SolarWinds Inc., an Austin-based information technology management software maker, said Monday it has shifted operations from its current Boulder, Colorado, office to a new location in that city at 5665 Flatiron Parkway.

St. David’s Foundation awards $16.6M in health care grants to nonprofits

St. David’s Foundation of Austin has awarded $16.6 million in grants to nonprofit groups in Central Texas that provide services including primary, mental health and dental care.
