Mass appeal, access key factors in today’s video game market, execs say at SXSW

Reaching the widest possible audience was among the top priorities identified by executives of companies that develop and publish games on Thursday, the opening of the SXSW gaming cConference and festival.
“We need to make sure we’re building a diverse game portfolio that will appeal to all kinds of people,” said Jamil Moledina, games strategic lead for Google Play at Google Inc.
