Goldman Sachs invests $30M in Austin software company

Zilliant Inc., an Austin company that builds software to help businesses make informed decisions about sales and pricing, has received a $30 million investment from a division of Goldman Sachs Group Inc.
The Private Capital Investing Group at Goldman is putting big money into Zilliant because of impressive growth and its software-as-a-service model that stands out in the analytics sector, according to an April 5 announcement.
