Austin Marathon’s economic impact grows to $34M

The 2017 Austin Marathon on Feb. 19 funneled an estimated $34.4 million into the local economy during race weekend.
That is an increase of $8.7 million from last year’s event, according to a study by faculty at the Bill Munday School of Business at St. Edward’s University.
