Transit startup Bridj shuts down, cites collapse of ‘major car company’ deal

Bridj — a data-driven, venture-backed bus startup based in Boston that hoped to help Austin’s traffic woes — said Sunday it’s winding down operations after a deal with a "major car company" fell through.
