Whole Foods pumps breaks on second Texas location for new 365 line of smaller stores

Austin-based Whole Foods Market Inc. has pushed back the opening of a lower-priced store in Houston.
The 365 by Whole Foods Market location was slated to open by 2017 inside the former industrial site at Yale Street and the 610 Loop, on the border of the Heights and Garden Oaks. A $5.5 million construction permit was recently filed in the city of Houston for the area.
Whole Foods (Nasdaq: WFM) did not reply to questions asking why there has been a delay.
