Video now accounts for more that one-third of all consumed content. According to Socialbakers, video posts tend to reach 135% more people than posts without video.
What’ more, Cisco suggests that videos will account for 80% of global internet traffic by the end of 2019.
“Needless to say, that live streaming is a new big bet for the advertising industry,” reports GBKSOFT. “In fact, for those companies thinking about live streaming app development, 2017 may be the right moment to take advantage of the fundamental changes in online advertising.”
The Interactive Advertising Bureau stated that spending on digital advertising ($72.5 billion) just surpassed television ($71.3 billion) for the first time. And the share of spending on video content is growing exponentially.
