Uber, Lyft squash their first Austin ridesharing app

The first ridesharing app to launch in Austin after Uber Technologies Inc. and Lyft Inc. left last year has become the first to close since the giants returned.
Managers of Ride Fare LLC, which operates the app known as Fare, told customers and drivers Monday night that they were shutting down in the Texas capital.
