Austin lands more direct flights to global destinations

Austin travelers are getting two more direct international flights — one to a new destination in the Caribbean, the other to one of Europe’s financial hubs on a low-cost carrier that has stirred up controversy for its labor practices.
Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA announced Wednesday it will begin flying from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport to Gatwick Airport outside London on March 25, 2018.
